For the 2022-2023 school year, courses are offered in person or in a virtual environment, depending on the course. Virtual courses are composed of synchronous and asynchronous learning.

The IL Secondary Program offers high school credit courses that focus on oral communication, reading and writing in a language other than English or French. Students will develop intercultural understanding and will use the target language to communicate and interact in a variety of social and academic settings. The Ontario credits can be used towards high school diploma completion as well as post-secondary admissions.
*’DU’ IL credit is equivalent to the pre-university ‘4U’ credit used for post-secondary applications
Important!
For non-CECCE students, proof of address and status in Canada is required.
Students will be placed in an IL credit level by the ILP administration according to Ministry-required prerequisites. If a student has completed an IL credit outside of the CECCE, please send proof of credit to the ILP.

The dates for the 2023 credit courses will be confirmed in winter 2023
Summer courses offer the opportunity for students to obtain a full credit towards their high school diploma and complete prerequisite credits required for entry to Level 2 (Grade 11 university preparation credit).
Open to students in Grade 9 – 12 as well as those who will complete Grade 8 in June

Level 2 – Grade 11 (prerequesite: completion of Level 1)

The secondary credit courses are overseen by the principal of Éducation permanente, Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), and funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
