The first day of ILP class is September 9 or 10. Once you are registered, the language school will contact you one (1) week before classes with further details.
The International and Indigenous Languages Program (IILP) offers weekend courses focusing on oral communication, reading and writing in languages other than French or English. Classes are led by experienced instructors who create a vibrant learning community for students through engaging activities. Students will gain literacy skills, communication skills, and cultural awareness. International language courses enhance students’ overall education, academic excellence, and ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds
Fees are per student per language class, and are non-refundable

The Elementary IILP Program Offers
Language classes for students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8
Programs on weekends from September to June
Lunchtime programs in certain CECCE schools
Summer classes available in July, Monday to Friday
Schedules tailored to age and grade levels, where possible
Students residing outside of Ontario are also welcome (additional fees apply)
Eligibility
Students must turn 4 years old by December 31 to be eligible for IILP elementary classes
For non-CECCE students, proof of address and status in Canada is required
Ontario residents: The Ontario Ministry of Education funds one class per language per student. Any student can register for two different languages offered at different times ($10 resource fee per class) – OR – two classes of the same language (additional fee of $150 for the second class of the same language).
For any virtual programs, the schedule below indicates general time frames. The virtual class schedule may vary by program and may include staggered learning times.
Exact class time will be communicated to parents/guardians closer to the beginning of classes.
In Person location: École élémentaire catholique Saint-Rémi (100 Walden dr, Kanata)
Schedule: Saturdays | 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
The International and Indigenous Language Program (IILP) is managed by Éducation permanente, le Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), and mandated and funded by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
